Richard Jorgensen

Richard Ray Jorgensen, 72, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 10, 2019.

Richard was born February 12, 1947, in Soda Springs, ID, to Lavern "Vern" Nels Jorgensen and Addie June Gunnell Jorgensen. He grew up and attended schools in Soda Springs and graduated from Idaho Falls High School in 1965. He also graduated from VoTec in 1974.

He married Sherrill Jean McCrary on April 9, 1966 in Monteview, ID. They later divorced. He married Pamela Nyda Ker in July of 1979 in Idaho Falls, ID. They later divorced. He had five children, Jenny, Trent, Trevor, Shanon and Shawnee. Richard made his home in Idaho Falls. Richard was a Professional Musician and school bus driver.

He was a member of several musical bands. He was a musician, loved working on classic cars and motorcycles and enjoyed his family.

Richard is survived by his loving daughter, Jenny (Andy) Lutz of Roy, UT; son, Trent (Molly) Jorgensen of Portland, OR; son, Trevor (Vilija Simaitis) Jorgensen of Portland, OR; daughter, Shanon (Chris) Carney of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Shawnee Farnsworth of Idaho Falls, ID; and 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Vern Jorgensen; mother, Addie Larson and his brother, Nels "Butch" Jorgensen.
