Richard Haley

Richard D. Haley, 54, of Idaho Falls, Idaho passed away peacefully June 1, 2017, at the home of his daughter, surrounded by loved ones, to join his soul mate in heaven.

He fought hard and never once gave up. He loved to tease his nurses daily and always made sure they left smiling. He was a jokester, he never passed up an opportunity to play a joke on someone.

Richard is survived by his daughter, Jessica (Blake) Landon; son, Jerrad Haley; and his grandchildren, Gabriel, Braylynne, Journie, Sayger, and Preslie. He also leaves behind his mom, Brenda Haley; sisters, Roxann Herrera, Rochelle Haley, and Renae Reyes all of Idaho Falls; as well as his brothers, Ricky (Lorna) Colvin of Idaho Falls and Nick (Krista) Haley of Boise. His Uncle Jerry (Karen) Haley of Aberdeen; and his father-in-law, Bill (Teresa Lee) Blalock of Twin Falls.

Richard is preceded in death by his beautiful wife and true soul mate, Theresa Haley; mother-in-law, Kay Hill; and his father, Richard F Haley.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Eagles Lodge (635 Hemmert Drive) on Saturday, June 10, 2017, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Rick and Theresa did many charities through the Eagles Lodge and felt very passionately about doing so. We are asking in lieu of flowers please make donations to Camp Magical Moments, this was his pride helping the camp in any way possible. We would like to do one last charity in mom and dad's names, so we will have a card box at the service for donations, you can make out checks to Camp Magical Moments and we will deliver the donations to the camp the following week.
