Richard Roland Dare, 79, of Idaho Falls, passed away November 26, 2017, at his home. He was under the care of his loving wife and Encompass Home Health. Richard was born August 18, 1938, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Herbert Roland Dare and Francis Catherine Pervey Dare. He grew up and attended schools in California. He served as an Ensign in the United States Navy from 1956-1957. On July 22, 1994, he married Mary Loutzenhiser in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Richard and Mary made their home in Idaho Falls where Richard worked as a draftsman for Mountain River Engineering for over 30 years. He was a Jehovah’s Witness since 1998. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Mary Dare of Idaho Falls, ID; children, Tim (Kelly) Dare, son, Stacy (Jennifer) Dare and daughter, Tori Hope Dare; three stepchildren, David (Stacy) Loutzenhiser, James Loutzenhiser and Nichole (Todd) Cooper; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Richard Dare, Jr. Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
