Richard A. Bova, 87, of Idaho Falls, passed away September 6, 2019, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
Richard "Dick" Bova was born January 25, 1932, in Milwaukee Wisconsin, to Anthony Bova and Wanda Richinson. Dick grew up in Milwaukee and attended Juneau High School. He joined the Air Force at age 16. He served a total of 18 years, and was stationed at bases in Honolulu HI, Anchorage AK, Antigo WI, and Detroit MI.
On Feb 2, 1952, he married Nancy Falkowski in Milwaukee WI. Together they had three children: Deborah, Jane, and Vince. Dick worked as a parts manager for Harnischfeger Corporation, retiring in 1989.
Dick lived a dynamic life. He was a world- class Archer. He spent 20+ years developing a famous chili recipe, culminating with him opening and operating his own restaurant in the Northeast Georgia mountains, in the 1980's. In the early 1990's, Dick invented and produced "Camp-Sinks".
In the mid 1990's, Mr. Bova undertook the final mission in his life. He founded Minuteman Network III, in hopes of educating fellow Americans, about the covert/hidden plans for establishing a one-world government (i.e. New World Order). Not a pacifist, Mr. Bova became a "word processor warrior". For many years, 14+ hour days were the normal. As Mr. Bova wrote, distributed literature and produced videos, in an effort to prevent the impending loss of America's sovereignty and Bill of Rights.
A viewing will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 18, 2019, at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge) in Idaho Falls.
