Ricardo Monte Adams

Ricardo “Ric” Monte Adams, 67, of Idaho Falls, passed away February 14, 2025.

Ric was born April 29, 1957, in Idaho Falls, ID, to Monte Adams and Olga Friedman.

Ric was a proud and devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had the privilege of visiting the temple before his passing, which he cherished very much.

As a veteran, he volunteered his free time at the VA and could often be found giving his support and services at other veteran’s funerals. He also spent a lot of his time working within the homeless communities and shelters. He liked to talk and share his life story with others.

Family was very important to him. He had immense love for his mother, Olga, sister, Lisa Grace,  his only child, Lisa Nicole, and his grandchildren, taking the time to speak with them daily. He was loved greatly by his family and community and will be missed beyond what words can describe. Ricardo is survived by his daughter, Lisa Nicole Acuna; mother, Olga Friedman; step-father, John Friedman; sister, Lisa Grace Richards; grandson, Joseph Lee Adams; granddaughter, Jordan Tay Acuna; and great-granddaughter, Basile Ray Adams.

He was preceded in death by his father, Monte Adams.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Taylor Cemetery. The family will visit with friends from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Military Honors will be performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Memorial Team and Idaho Honor Guard.
