RHEA C. GREEN
IDAHO FALLS, ID - Rhea Cramer Green, 82, of Idaho Falls,
died March 5, 2004, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center of complications
from surgery.
She was born October 17, 1921, at Ucon, Idaho, to Alfred
Cramer and Emily Tyler Cramer. She and her twin sister, Leah, grew up
and attended schools in Ucon. During World War II, she and Leah had the
privilege of attending and graduating from Ricks College.
On January 9, 1946, she married Boyd Ival Green in the
Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was a homemaker and mother. As her daughters
grew, she also worked at several local businesses including the Party
Shop where she and her twin sister worked side by side.
An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints, she served as a Primary teacher and in several presidencies in
both the Primary and Relief Society. She and her husband served as Spanish
Extraction missionaries and together enjoyed the research.
Survivors include her two daughters, Joann Montgomery,
of Idaho Falls, and Lori (Darren) Mullins, of Yorba Linda, California;
two sisters, Leah Cramer Larsen, and Rozilla Cramer, both of Idaho Falls;
six grandchildren, Brittany and Aaron Montgomery, Destiny, Krystal, Aubrey
and Misty Mullins. Her husband; sisters Dora Frei, Ethel Hammon, Stella
Hammon, Vera Haroldsen, and one brother, A. Lowell Cramer, preceded her
in death.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March
10, 2004, at Mountain View LDS Ward (1450 Mountain View Lane) in Idaho
Falls with Terry Dawson, 1st Counselor in the Mountain View Ward Bishopric,
officiating.
The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 7 to
8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge Ave.) and Wednesday for one
hour prior to the services at the church.
Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park under the direction
of Wood Funeral Home.
