RHEA DAVIS Click here to view a video of Rhea's life IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Rhea Robins Davis, 85, of Idaho Falls, died May 9, 2008, at her home. She was born September 27, 1922, in Scipio, Utah, to Bert LeRoy Robins and Cora Katherine Hanseen Robins. She grew up and attended schools in Scipio and Fillmore, graduating from Fillmore High School. She went on to attend Brigham Young University, graduating with a B.A. in dance. On June 5, 1944, she married James Douglas Davis in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Together they had four children. She was a teacher, dance instructor, mother and a homemaker. She lived in Utah, Seattle and Whidbey Island, Washington, and Idaho Falls, where she resided for the last 57 years. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served in many callings in her ward and stake. She was president of the Medical Auxiliary, president of the music club, and a hospital volunteer. She played the violin, the piano, taught music and modern dance, and loved to golf. This woman of great class and grace passed away surrounded by loving family members and will be remembered for her wonderful cooking, great talents, and her love of family. Survivors include: Daughter: Kathy Davis (Randy) Dryer, Salt Lake City, UT Son: Scott D. (Sharon) Davis, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Robin Davis (Leonard) McGee, Salt Lake City, UT Son: Todd M. (Carla) Davis, Sacramento, CA 10 Grandchildren & 1 Great Grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. James Douglas "JD" Davis. Per Rhea's request, private family Graveside Services will be held at the Taylor Cemetery, under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue. ------------------------------------ Condolences received online: Bishop and Mrs. Jay H. She was such a lady! It was a privilege to have known her.
