Rex Jensen

Rex Conrad Jensen, 69, passed away peacefully at his home on April 3, 2026, surrounded by his loving family after a brave and courageous fight.

Rex was born December 10, 1956, in St. Anthony, Idaho, to Blaine R. Jensen and Nina Evelyn Jones Jensen. He was raised with strong values of family, dedication, and hard work that guided him throughout his life.

In 1978, Rex met the love of his life, Marcy Delaney. Their relationship grew into a lasting and devoted marriage, and they were united on December 30, 1983. Together, they shared 43 years of marriage filled with love, commitment, and cherished memories.

He will be remembered for his strength, kindness, sense of humor, and unwavering love for his family. He especially loved spending time outdoors-camping, sitting by the fire, and creating lasting memories with those he loved most. He also enjoyed jet skiing and was known for playfully splashing others, being the only one who could get close enough to do so, bringing laughter and joy to those around him.

Rex was preceded in death by his parents, Blaine R. Jensen and Nina Evelyn Jones Jensen, and his beloved older sister, Mina Kay Jensen Wease.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Marcy Jensen; his children, Heather (James) Peterson, Conrad (Amy) Jensen, and Conley (Elizabeth) Jensen; his brothers, Kyle (Vicky), Billy Joe (Lisa), and Benny (Teresa); his cherished grandchildren, Nick and Laney Peterson, Bailey (Colby) Hatch, Kaylin, Parker, and Myles Jensen, and Braxton and Noelle Jensen; and great-grandson, Caiwyn Hatch. He also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends who will miss him deeply.

A family service will be held on May 23, 2026, in Kilgore, Idaho, where his ashes will be spread over Lookout Point, with a potluck to follow. Please message the family for details.

The family invites all who knew Rex to honor his memory by spending time with loved ones and enjoying the outdoors, just as he did.
