Renee Stoddard

RENEE C. STODDARD IDAHO FALLS, ID - Reneé Coggle Stoddard, 72, of Idaho Falls, died March 7, 2004 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. She was born June 26, 1931, at St. Anthony, Idaho, to Vernon C. Coggle and Lapriel Boam Coggle. She grew up and attended schools in the area, graduating from Idaho Falls High School. She later attended Eastern Idaho Technical College for two years where she majored in Market Management. On December 26, 1950, she married Jay Stoddard. They were divorced after 36 years of marriage. She was a homemaker and owned a floral business. She also did bartering at a trade exchange. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed swimming at Apple Athletic Club, going to garage sales, collecting butterflies, and was especially talented at arranging silk flowers. Survivors include: Son: Charles Jay (Vicki) Stoddard, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Terrill H. (Bobbi) Stoddard, Boise, ID Daughter: Laurie Dee (James V.) Sturm, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Barry Ray (Tina) Stoddard, Stillwater, MN Sister-in-law: Beverly Wakemen, Idaho Falls, ID 12 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; former husband; one brother and a granddaughter, Andrea Stoddard. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 11, 2004 at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge Ave.) with Merlin Stoddard officiating. The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Grant-Central Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
