Renate Suelflohn

RENATE SUELFLOHN RIRIE, ID -- Renate Suelflohn, 60, of Ririe, died December 11, 2004, at her sister’s home in Ririe. She was born March 19, 1944, in Soldin, Germany, to Ernst Albert Johannes Rosenthal and Glijntje Vanderbeek Rosenthal. She attended schools in Holland and Germany, receiving her G.E.D. after she came to the USA. She earned her Licensed Practical Nurse degree from the LDS Nursing Program in Idaho Falls. On October 18, 1988, she married LeRoy Suelflohn in San Diego, California. They were later divorced. She lived in the San Diego, California. area for over 35 years and worked as a nurse's aide for Home Health. Renate was an avid walker, enjoyed drawing, stamp collecting, and loved visiting flea markets and garage sales. Surviving are: Mother: Glijntje Rosenthal, Idaho Falls, ID Sister: Leni (Blair) Moncur, Ririe, ID Sister: Inge (Steve) Lovell, Idaho Falls, ID She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and a sister, Erna Scheffler. Burial will be at the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery at a later date under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
