Regina Lynn Jansen, 38, of Idaho Falls, passed away January 21, 2012, at her home of natural causes.
Regina was born June 21, 1973, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Bruce Jansen and Susan Heath Jansen-Jones. She attended Idaho Falls High School and completed her education at Illinois State University, earning her Elementary Education Degree.
She married Joseph Gilmartin in January, 1994, and they were later divorced.
In August, 2011, Gina gave birth to her much beloved son, Gavin Michael Jansen. Regina loved being a mother and spent every waking moment with her little boy. She loved playing with and taking care of him.
Family and friends meant everything to her. Regina enjoyed making jewelry, photography, and reading.

Half-brother, Chris Jansen of San Francisco, CA;
Stepsister, Tiffany Albanese of Boise, ID;
Grandfather, John Emery Heath, of Idaho Falls, ID;
Grandmother, Alice Jansen of Cumberland, WI;
and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Deon Heath and Marvin Jansen.
Funeral Services will be held 11a.m. Thursday, January 26, 2012, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and Thursday from 10 to 10:45 a.m., both at Wood East Side. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to a scholarship fund set up at Westmark Federal Credit Union in the name of her son, Gavin Michael Jansen.
