Regina Young Borg, 60, of Ammon, passed away February 1, 2011 at her home of natural causes.
She was born January 23, 1951 in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to William Newby Young and DeVona Baron Young. She graduated from Rigby High School in 1969. She received an Associates Degree from Ricks College.
Regina married David Byron Borg on July 16, 1971 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They made their home in Ammon after graduation. Three years later they were joined by their son David William and another three years later Christina “Tina” came along.
Regina worked off and on as a secretary for various companies and she used those skills in her church callings. She served in the Relief Society and Young Women’s organizations for many years, and she worked as an Election Registrar and Judge.
She enjoyed sewing, quilting, photography, traveling and cross stitching. She crocheted hats for the cancer center and for the LDS humanitarian effort. Taking a long drive to enjoy the Idaho scenery brought Regina great pleasure. Her family was especially important to her, and she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
