REESE J. WALTERS IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Reese J. Walters, 77, of Idaho Falls, died September 29, 2005, at his home. He was born September 22, 1928, in Salem, Idaho, to Orrin S. Walters and Dessie Jensen Walters. His family moved to Rexburg, where he attended schools and graduated from high school. He later attended Idaho State University. He served in the U. S. Army during World War II. On December 2, 1955, he married Marilyn B. Lewis in St. Anthony. He worked as a truck driver for 38 years at Amcor. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed fishing and traveling. Survivors are: Wife: Marilyn Walters, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Kevin Reese Walters, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Doug (Pearl) Walters, Idaho Falls, ID Brother: Warren (Barbara) Walters, Newdale, ID Brother: Doyle (Shirley) Walters, St. Anthony, ID Brother: Val (Audry) Walters, California 3 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 4, 2005, at the Idaho Falls LDS 8th Ward (2051 South Emerson) with Bishop Brad Doman, officiating. The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park under the direction of Wood Funeral Home. Military Rites will be performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Team. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Hospice of Eastern Idaho, 1920 East 17th Street, Idaho Falls, ID 83404.
