Reed T. Richins, 81, of Idaho Falls passed away October 9, 2012, at his home, surrounded by his family.
Reed was born October 13, 1930, in Ogden, Utah, to Joseph Ether Richins and Julia Cherry Richins. He attended schools in the Teton Valley and soon after joined the Army serving during World War II, where he loved to play baseball.
Reed married Flora Hillman March 18, 1955. She passed away in January, 1990.
On August 24, 1990, he married Beverly Dawn Monson in Blackfoot, Idaho. He lived his life in the Teton Valley, Blackfoot and Ammon areas. He worked with the USDA Farmers Home Administration as a home inspector.
Reed was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loved hunting and fishing, never failing to fill his and other’s tags. This love he instilled upon his children and grandchildren.

Daughter, Connie (Boyd) Guymon of Driggs, ID;

Brother, Alva (Nora) Richins of Jackson, WY;
15 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Flora, brothers, Mike, Alma, Keith and sisters, Amy and Veda.
Funeral Services will be held on Reed’s 82nd birthday at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 13, 2012, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road, with Bishop Chad Murdock officiating. The family will visit with friends 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Friday and from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday, both at Wood Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Victor Cemetery in Victor, Idaho.
