Click Here To View Memorial Video Reed Alan Paesl, 59, of Idaho Falls, passed away November 28, 2014 at Life Care Center of Idaho Falls. Reed was born May 11, 1955, in Pocatello, Idaho, to Dewitt Alex Paesl and Maxine Loretta Cook Paesl. Reed’s mother passed away when he was five months old. His father married Flora Fern Ackerman and together they raised him. He grew up in the Blackfoot area and graduated from Snake River High School. On June 23, 1989, he married Becky Lou Harris in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. Reed and Becky made their home in Idaho Falls and raised five children: Mariah, Tyler, Trevor, Seth, and Shilo. Reed worked for many years at Sears and the Post Register. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in various callings. Reed enjoyed attending the temple daily for many years. He also enjoyed church history, family history, sports, jigsaw puzzles, and was known for his sense of humor and his ability to make people laugh. Reed is survived by his loving wife Becky Paesl of Idaho Falls, ID; children, Mariah Idema of Blackfoot, ID, Tyler Paesl, Trevor (Kandace) Paesl, Seth Paesl, and Shilo Paesl all of Idaho Falls; parents, Dewitt and Fern Paesl of Idaho Falls; siblings, Terry (Jane) Davis of Payson, AZ, Cliff Davis of Idaho Falls, and Stasie (Steven) Wadsworth of Pocatello, ID; grandchildren, Carson, Jaxson, and Kaebree Paesl of Idaho Falls. He was preceded in death by his mother, Maxine Paesl, and his grandparents. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 2, 2014, at the LDS Cloverdale Building (1040 North Crimson) with Bishop Richard Williamson officiating. The family will visit with friends and family Monday from 6:30-8 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Rd. and Tuesday one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Sugar City Cemetery.
