Raymond Michael Joseph Howe, 75, of Idaho Falls, passed away on October 26, 2011, at his home. He was born September 12, 1936, in New Rochelle, New York to Joseph Howe, U.S. Army, and Lucille Celentano Howe. He grew up in Philadelphia, PA. He attended Bridgeport University in Connecticut and American Institute of Banking in New York. He received multiple Masters Degrees from various Universities. He served in the U.S. Marines during the Korean War as a Corporal and fired the 155 MM Howitzer. On October 26, 1985, he married Jacqueline Marie Andrew in Redding, CT. He worked at the East Idaho Credit Union. Ray was a member of the Catholic Church. He enjoyed hiking, outdoor activities, traveling, watching old movies, gardening, and jogging. He was a Golden Gloves Boxer and a Marine Boxer at Camp Lejeune. Survivors are: Wife: Jaqueline Howe, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Michael Brian Howe, U.S. Air Force, Columbus, OH Son: Bruce Raymond Howe, U.S. Navy, Chicago, IL Son: Alan Arthur Remeika, Kent, CT Daughter: Cpl. Marie Lauren Howe, U.S. Marine and Afghanistan War Veteran, Camp Pendleton, San Diego, CA Daughter-in-law: Debra Howe, Leesburg, Virginia 4 Grandchildren: Annika Howe, Ryan Howe, Julianne Remeika, and Cody Remeika. Brother: Ron (Valerie) Howe, Raleigh, NC He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 29, 2011, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church (corner of 9th and Lee). In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Raymond Howe Fund at any branch of East Idaho Credit Union.
