RAY "SMILEY" NESSEN IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Ray James Nessen, 56, of Idaho Falls, died October 2, 2006, near his home. He was born May 11, 1950, at Idaho Falls to Thomas Nessen and Georgia Williams Nessen. He grew up and attended schools in the area, graduating from Idaho Falls High School. On June 14, 1969, he married Ora Mae Neville at Idaho Falls. They were later divorced. He worked as a laborer. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed fishing, camping, pool, darts, and bowling. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren, Austin, Kimberly, and Caleb. Survivors are: Son: Rodney (Lori) Nessen, Idaho Falls Sister: Betty Wareham, Washington 3 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and a sister. Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, October 9, 2006, at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge). The family will visit with friends Sunday from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. and on Monday from 1:00 to 1:40 p.m., prior to the services, both at Wood Funeral Home.
