Randy Gayle Hartman, 58, of Idaho Falls, passed away September 22, 2010, at his home surrounded by his family. Randy was born December 4, 1951, in Ogden, Utah, to Gayle Hartman and Betty Mortensen Hartman. He grew up in Clinton, Utah and graduated from Clearfield High School. He then took drafting courses at Weber State. Randy married Lynette Rich May 7, 1971, in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. They lived in Layton, Utah, where he worked for Wycoff, then moved to Idaho Falls 23 years ago, where he worked for UPS until his retirement in 2009. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Randy enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, sports, and four wheeling with his grandchildren. He could fix anything and loved to work on cars and putter around in the garage, but what he really loved most was his wonderful grandchildren. They were the light of his life. Randy is survived by his loving spouse of 39 years, Lynette, son - Heath (Heidi) Hartman of Idaho Falls, ID; two daughters - Brooke (Jason) Lords of Rexburg, ID, and Sommer (Chris) Holst of Ucon, ID; three brothers - Russ Hartman of Littleton, CO, Ronn Hartman of East Layton, UT, Steve Hartman of Clinton, UT; a sister - Sue Fahnert of Linden, UT; and eight grandchildren, Kyler, Tegan, Journee, Tavyn, Taye, Myley, Treyce, Diesel, and a new arrival on the way. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter and Beatrice Hartman and Clint and Mae Mortensen. To our beloved Husband, Father, and Papa – You are truly going to be missed. Funeral Services

Tuesday September 28, 2010 , 11:00 a.m. at Idaho Falls LDS Willow Creek Ward The family will visit with friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at Wood East Side, 963 South Ammon Road, and Tuesday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.
