Randall Mark Baronian

Randall Mark Baronian, 75, of Idaho Falls, went to be with his Lord and Savior on February 18, 2024. Mark was born October 27, 1948, in Alameda, California, to Homer Aram Baronian and Katherine Ellen Baronian. He grew up and attended school in California. Mark joined the United States Navy and served in the Vietnam War. He worked as a Boiler Technician and later worked as a social worker. Mark was a member of the Snake River Hot Boat Association and an avid contributor to the Idaho Falls Greenbelt Project. For the past 20 years he organized and facilitated the annual Idaho Falls jet boat races in partnership with the annual Duck Races which was designed to raise money and awareness for the Greenbelt Project.  In addition, he served as the commander for the Disabled Veterans of America (DAV) organization. He had many hobbies, and enjoyed anything involving a motor, but mostly speed boats and airplanes.

Mark stated that his greatest accomplishment in life was his children, whom he didn’t see much but always held them near and dear to his heart.

We will always remember Mark’s kind, gentle demeanor, his caring nature for others, his big smile and belly laughs, and his great big heart. He was a person who would do anything for anyone at any time. Mark is survived by his two children, Kristine (Rick) Swain of NH, and Steven (Shima) Baronian of GA; brothers, Danny Baronian and Brian Baronian; five grandchildren, multiple nieces and nephews, and two great grandchildren on the way. He is also survived by his best friend, KC Baronian (black lab) as well as his adopted Idaho family:  Alecia (Dwayne) Coburn, Lolly (Bill) Martin, Hailey Tew, Devann (Joshua) Jadine, and six of the family’s grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Karen Baronian, and sister-in-laws, Debbie Baronian and Kathy Baronian. Memorial will be held at a later date.
