RALPH M. PRIEST
Ralph Maynard Priest, 67, of Idaho Falls, died January
20, 2005, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center of pneumonia.
He was born December 29, 1937, in Idaho Falls, Idaho,
to Marion Lee Priest and Essie Egbert Priest. He grew up in Taylor and
attended schools in Idaho Falls.
After school, he joined the U. S. Army and became a light
weapons infantryman, a paratrooper and then a Tactical Command Chief and
Drill Sargent, earning many different medals of honor. He served all over
Europe, the Phillippines, Middle East and Korea.
He was married and later divorced. Following his military
service he worked at O. K. Tire Re-Builders in Idaho Falls.
He loved to camp, fish, and be in the mountains. Ralph
was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous, where he touched and influenced
many lives through the years.

4 Grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Calvert and Lee
Priest, and a grandson, Danny Keller.
Memorial Services are will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday,
January 26, 2005 at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge). The family will
visit with friends for one hour prior to the services. Military rites
will be performed by the National Guard.
