to Oregon and worked in the logging industry. At the start of World War
II he returned to California, joined the U. S. Navy, and served faithfully
in the Pacific Theatre as a Machinist Mate 1st Class.
He married Jean Ann Vedovelli October 25, 1940, in Pittsburg,

granddaughters, Annake and Hannah.
He was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Ralph enjoyed
swimming, bowling, and prefabrication metal design. He enjoyed watching
and reading about history, especially the war years. Most dear to his heart
was his family and being with his wife of 63 years, Jeannie, his children,
grandchildren, and his sister and brothers.
Ralph had a deep love of all his family and his prayer
was that his wife, children, grandchildren, sister and brothers have a good
life and be happy. He was a great husband, father, grandfather, and brother
