RALPH L. CUNNINGHAM
Ralph Lewis Cunningham, 90, of Ammon, died January 23, 2002, at the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
He was born June 4, 1911 at Woodville, Idaho to John Cunningham and Laura Elizabeth Hammer Cunningham. He attended schools in Osgood and Idaho Falls. He has lived in Idaho Falls since 1928.
He married Edna Bodily on November 1, 1937 in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. He worked at REA Express in Idaho Falls for 36 years until his retirement in 1974. He also worked as a driver and night depot agent.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed hunting, fly fishing, bowling, playing snooker, and boating.
Surviving are:Wife: Edna Cunningham, Ammon, IDSon: Garth (Gloria) Cunningham, Idaho Falls, IDDaughter: Valeta (Steve) Cook, Rigby, IDSon: Brent Lewis (Nancy Carol) Cunningham, Eagle, IDDaughter: Joyce Elison, Farmington, UTBrother: Bill (Eva) Cunningham, Blackfoot, ID 15 Grandchildren and 29 Great Grandchildren.He was preceded in death by 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m Saturday, January 26, 2002, at the Ammon LDS 1st Ward, (3000 Central Avenue) with Bishop Robert Marshall officiating. The family will meet with friends on Friday from 6:30-8 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home and for one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
