Ralph Arthur Timothy Criddle, 89, of Idaho Falls, passed away September 3, 2014, at Life Care Center of Idaho Falls.
Ralph was born February 7, 1925, in Springfield, Idaho, to John William Criddle and Cora Dell Shelmen Criddle. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls. He served his country as a Machine Mate First Class in the U. S. Navy during World War II.
On August 1, 1969, he married Helen Alberta Love in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Ralph worked as a boiler steam plant operator at the INEL and retired in 1992.
Ralph was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a member of the Elks Lodge. Boating and fishing were pastimes he enjoyed over the years.
Ralph is survived by his devoted wife of 45 years, Helen Criddle of Idaho Falls, ID;
son, Ross (Vickie) Criddle of Idaho Falls, ID.
one granddaughter, Courtney Criddle Madison,
three grandsons, Rawlin Travis Criddle, Ryan Carpenter, and Timmy Carpenter.
three great granddaughters, Tayler Ropp, Kylee Kennedy, Kali Alvarado, and
four great grandsons, Zachery Carpenter, Jacob Carpenter, Maxwell Carpenter, and Drew Carpenter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Merdin Criddle, Linden Criddle, Charles Criddle, and Jay Criddle, two sisters, Faye Criddle and Ivon Criddle, and a stepson, James Carpenter.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 9, 2014, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, with Bishop Randall B. Wheeler of the Idaho Falls LDS Mountain View Ward officiating. The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to the services at Wood Funeral Home. Military Rites will be performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Memorial Team and Idaho Honor Guard.
