Biography

Raelene Anita Chugg McMillin, 62, of Idaho Falls, passed away Friday, December 27, 2013 at her home after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was under the care of her loving family and Hospice of Eastern Idaho. Raelene was born Septmeber 29, 1951 in Ogden, Utah to Raymond Joseph Chugg and Janet Lorraine Glasmann Chugg. She moved to Jerome, ID where she attended school. Raelene graduated from Twin Falls High school in 1969. In 1982 she married Thomas Tyler McMillin in Twin Falls, ID. Early in her life, Raelene worked as a physician's assistant for Dr. Russell Lambert, a pediatrician in Twin Falls, ID. She retired as a laboratory technician from INEL in Idaho Falls, ID. As a devout horse and animal lover, she owned and operated Half Halt Stables and was a lifetime member of the American Quarter Horse Association. Raelene is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Thomas, Son, Major Benjamin Ray Jacobson and wife, Major Angela Jacobson, US Air Force, of Montgomery, AL, Son, Ryan Keith Jacobson, wife Nicole Jacobson, and their two sons of Boise, ID. Mother, Janet Chugg Thompson of Idaho Falls, ID. and Brother, Curtis Glasmann Chugg, and wife Christine Chugg. She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Joseph Chugg. On Tuesday, December 31st, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. the family will visit with friends prior to a Memorial Service which will start at 11:00 a.m. at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge Ave.). Her final resting place will be at Iona Cemetery at a later date. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.woodfuneralhome.com.
