Quinn Norris

Quinn Rosewel Norris, 71, of Idaho Falls, passed away peacefully June 22, 2026, at Teton Healthcare of Cascadia surrounded by family.

Quinn was born December 27, 1954, in Provo, Utah, to Rosewel Norris and Maureen Boswell Maughan Norris. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Bonneville High School.

Quinn made his home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where he worked as a janitor for Community Mental Health Services.

He loved drawing, building model cars, watching Nascar races, camping, hunting, arm wrestling, spending time with family, and going out for coffee with friends. Dad was very friendly and enjoyed meeting new people, usually becoming instant friends. He attended all events for his grandchildren and was their biggest fan. Holidays and birthdays were never missed and he would always show up with a greeting card in hand.

Quinn is survived by his daughter, Becky (Kerry) Thomas of Rigby, ID; brother, Kent (Judy) Norris of Ammon, ID; and 4 grandchildren, Gage, Lacie, Colter and Shelby.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 3, 2026, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 6:30-8:00 p.m. and Friday from 1:00-1:45 p.m. prior to services, with both visitations at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.
