Click Here To View Memorial Video Phyllis Stoddard Call, 98, of Idaho Falls, passed away December 21, 2014, at her home. She was under the care of Hands of Hope Hospice. She was born December 13, 1916, in Rexburg, Idaho, to Daniel Stuart Stoddard and Jane Norwood Heaton Stoddard. Phyllis grew up in Rexburg and spent her summers in Island Park. She graduated from Madison High School and continued her education at the LDS Business College in Salt Lake City. Phyllis married Garland Dinsdale Call on December 31, 1937, in Rexburg, Idaho. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on December 30, 1952. Garland passed away July 25, 1971. Phyllis was a homemaker and mother of six children and worked as the bookkeeper for their family business, Garland Call Pole Company. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and held many callings. She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She seemed to serve as secretary of every organization to which she belonged. Phyllis enjoyed quilting, embroidery, and crossword puzzles. She had beautiful penmanship and was a great cook. She was well-known for her pies. Phyllis is survived by her children, Daughter, Garlene J. (Bill) Shurtleff of Idaho Falls, ID; Daughter, Bonnie L (Richard) Petrus of Idaho Falls, ID; Daughter, Barbara J. (Winn) Sanderson of Idaho Falls, ID; Son, Forrest C. (Paula) Call of Idaho Falls, ID; Daughter, Debra A. (Blair) Garner of Idaho Falls, ID; Daughter, Tacie J. (Jordan) Cook of Cave Creek, AZ; Brother, Dan Heaton Stoddard of Idaho Falls, ID. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Vera Lovejoy and Norma Whipple. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 27, 2014, at the Ammon LDS 27th Ward Blackhawk Building, 7118 South Ledgerock, with Bishop James Hansen officiating. The family will visit with friends from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Friday at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road, and from 10:00-10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.

Ammon Road), and from 10-10:45 a.m. Saturday prior to services at the church. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.
