Philip Scott Cross Malley, 23, of Idaho Falls, passed away June 12, 2014, at his home.
Philip was born April 24, 1991, in Staten Island, New York, to Stephen P. Malley and Sharon K. Cross Malley. He lived in Staten Island for four years, Portland, Oregon for seven years, Bigfork, Montana for ten years, and Idaho Falls the past two years. He graduated from Bigfork High School, and also attended Flathead Valley Community College.
Philip worked as a machinist, roofer, drywall hanger, a chef, and most recently as a concrete worker.
He attended Saint John Paul II Parish and was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous. He enjoyed drawing, skateboarding, the history of weapons, Hacky Sak, soccer, computers, games, and his knife collection.
Philip is survived by
father, Stephen Malley of Idaho Falls, ID;
mother, Sharon K. Malley of Moore, OK;
brother, Abraham E. Malley;
sister, Faith M. Malley;
sister, Dr. Jan Spinardi Pirozzi.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Francis John Malley, Billy Gene Cross, John Howard, his aunt, Delores Cross Montgomery, and many other beloved family members.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 19, 2014, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 9th and Lee. The family will meet with friends one hour prior to services. A gathering will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Upper Valley Idaho, P.O. Box 2462, Idaho Falls, ID 83403.
