Phil Arave

Phil Arave was taken from this earth on May 31, 2021.

Phillip Jay Arave was born on December 12, 1973, to Margaret and Kyle Arave in Twin Falls, Idaho.

Phil attended school in Shelley, Idaho Falls, and graduated high school in Yakima, Washington. He then attended college, graduating with a degree in Computer Aid Drafting from Boise State and a Web Design degree from EITC.

Phil was a man of many talents and interests. Some of these being darts, dad jokes, golf, flying, fixing and building things, riding motorcycles, and just understanding how things work.

Phil married the love of his life, Maria Dixon, on July 21, 2007, and for the past 15 years they raised their blended family. He was a dedicated husband, father, and Pappy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Meg and Kyle Arave; and his bonus daughter, Sam Smith.

He is survived by his wife, Maria; their children, Stetson (Tiffany) Adams, Chase (Danika) Taylor, Samantha (Danielle) Arave, Jayde (Julia) Arave, Cateira Sanchez, Criuz Dixon; his bonus children, Ryan Schoonover, Justin Hall, and McKenna Monson; his grandchildren, Quinn, Brexton, Adrian, Sadie Lyn, Iris, and Ryleigh; and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 10, 2021, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road, in Ammon, Idaho. The family will visit with friends from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services. A luncheon will be held in honor of Phil at the family home, 2442 Stace Circle, Idaho Falls, Idaho at 3:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
