Peyton Allen

Peyton Thomas Allen, 18, of Idaho Falls, passed away June 19, 2018, following a collision with another vehicle.

Born May 16, 2000, in Malad, Idaho, to Travus Dee Allen and Marci Worton Allen, he grew up in Idaho Falls and attended Westside Elementary, Eagle Rock Junior High and Skyline High School. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Peyton loved his friends and family and enjoyed making them laugh with his quick wit, light-hearted teasing, and was willing to push boundaries for a laugh. He could always light up a room with his goofy smile and those ears. He was also extraordinarily kind. A favorite of his younger cousins for his patience and playfulness, he would not hesitate to help and serve his friends and neighbors. He planned on serving his country in the United States Marine Corps.

He loved riding motorcycles, driving cars, and sharing that passion with his friends and family. He spent countless hours working on his cars and motorcycles. Peyton had a strong work ethic and was invaluable to his father’s drywall business completing some of the least appealing tasks often rising early to work before school. Peyton grew up helping with his family’s many animals but he especially loved the dogs.

Peyton was an accomplished wrestler who began at the age of eleven. At age 14 he began ballroom dance and performed with them for one year before starting other sports and hobbies. He ran track and cross-country for Skyline High School. He was an Eagle Scout who loved camping and new adventures.

Peyton is survived by his loving parents, Travus Dee and Marci Allen of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Lexie (Geoff) Bulson of Colorado Springs, CO; sister, Torie Allen of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Tristan Allen of Idaho Falls, ID; grandmother, Lois Worton of Auburn, WA; and grandparents, Neil and Eja Allen of Ammon, ID.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Melvin E. Worton and uncle Matthew Clair Worton.
