Perry Earl Tonks, 49, passed away August 19, 2012, in Murray, Utah surrounded by his loving wife, Lorna, and the rest of his family. Perry was born February 21, 1963, in Driggs, Idaho. He was the son of Keith W. Tonks and Judie Ranae Cambridge Tonks. He was raised in Victor, Idaho. He was a very loving child and always had lots of fun things to do with his childhood friends. As a young boy, his time was spent hunting, fishing, camping and trapping. Perry loved the out doors and spent as much time as he could in the mountains. He especially loved it back South in the Elk Creek area. He loved to sit around a campfire and enjoyed the company of good friends and family. Perry was a very compassionate person and would help his fellow man anytime there way a need. He didn’t talk about or judge other people; he believed that everyone’s business was their own. Perry was a gentle person. He loved little children and he loved animals. Perry worked hard his whole life, and he like to work. He could always find a job no matter where he was. Perry was a great handyman that could make anything he set his mind to, and made numerous wood furnishings for their home. Family was very important to him and he loved his family dearly. He enjoyed his little grandchildren and got such a kick out of the cute things they would say. His wife, Lorna, was his partner in all that he did, and she took such tender, kind care of him when he got so sick. He was be greatly missed by all that loved him and were friends to him. He is survived by his loving wife, Lorna; five daughters, Cassie (Dan) Franklin, Amber Tonks, Ashley (Gustavo Sedano) Tonks, Megan (Greg) Stevens, and Mandy (Mike) Stone; and 3 sons, Isaac (Crystal) Miller, Mike Wolf, and Adam Wolfe. Also surviving are his parents; one brother, Bruce (Shawnia) Tonks; one sister Holli (Jeremy) Moorehouse; and Grandmother, Juanita Bainbridge, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and 15 grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, August 24, 2012, at the Victor LDS Church. The family will visit with friends on Friday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church.
