Penny Mcspadden

Lucy "Penny" Pendlay McSpadden, 56, of Idaho Falls, passed away August 2, 2016, at her home.

Penny was born July 13, 1960, in Rexburg, Idaho, to Donald Edward Baber and Vera Evelyn Gilbert Baber McSpadden. She grew up and attended schools in Rexburg, Idaho, and graduated from Madison High School. She also attended Idaho State University where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. Penny worked for the State of Idaho Tax department as a tax assessor for over ten years as well as the INEEL.

She enjoyed reading, computer sciences, and traveling. She enjoyed peace and relaxation paired with a nice ice-cold Bud Light. Penny loved collecting glassware and antiques. She also loved to volunteer for local charities.

Penny is survived by her

child, Jamie Lee Grogan of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Sylvia Johnson of Idaho Falls, ID;

sister, Donna Johnson of Idaho Falls, ID;

brother, Bud McSpadden of Tonasket, WA;

sister, Robin Pellegatto of Red Lodge, MT.

She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Baber; mother, Vera McSpadden; and stepfather, Robert James McSpadden.
