Peggy Smith

PEGGY SMITH IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Peggy Irene Smith, 83, of Idaho Falls, died November 26, 2007, at her home. She was born May 29, 1924, in Drummond, Idaho, to Lloyd John Niendorf and Effie Mae Garver Niendorf. She grew up and attended schools in the area, graduating from South Fremont High School. On October 19, 1945, she married William F. Smith in St. Anthony, Idaho. She was a mother, homemaker, and worked with her husband on the farm in Lamont until his death in 1981. She then moved to Idaho Falls. She enjoyed gardening, reading, and her dog. Peggy especially loved spending time with her family, including granddaughter, Kara Lynn Smith and great granddaughter, Keyerra. Survivors include: Daughter: Jeanne Werts, Sandy, Utah Daughter: Penny Lynn Smith, Fort Myers, Florida Sister: Marion Reynolds, Idaho Falls, Idaho Sister: Audrey McFarlin, Sun City, Arizona 1 Grandchildren & 1 Great Grandchildren Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 1, 2007, at the Ashton Community United Methodist Church, 178 South 5th in Ashton, with Pastor Barbara Bunsold. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 2:30 until 3:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Ashton Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 2676 Vista Avenue, Boise, ID 83705, or a charity of your choice. ----------------------------------
