Peggy Lee Purcell, 75, of Idaho Falls, passed away October 8, 2025, at her home. She was under the care of Symbii Hospice.
Peggy was born January 30, 1950, in Denver, CO, to Joseph Leo “Joe” Brennan and Elizabeth Lee “Betty” Reed Brennan. She grew up and attended schools in Denver and Boulder, CO. She also attended VOTEC where she earned her degree in nursing as an LPN.
On January 27, 1972, she married Donald Raymond Purcell in Boulder, CO. Peggy and Donald made their home in Boulder, CO, where Peggy worked as an LPN. Later, she worked as a hospice nurse and at the Pediatric Clinic in Idaho Falls.
She was a Catholic. She loved working on her farm where she raised cows, horses, and goats, listening to music, cooking, knitting, and crocheting.
Peggy is survived by her husband, Donald Raymond Purcell of Idaho Falls, ID; daughters, Patricia Moore of Colorado Springs, CO, Annette Purcell of Idaho Falls, ID, Donna Purcell of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, John (Markey) Brennan of Denver, CO; 9 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Betty Brennan; sister, JoAnn Collins; and daughter, Kelly Purcell.
A celebration of life for friends and family will be held from 3-6 p.m. on October 25th at our home, 4478 N 15th East, Idaho falls, ID.
