Our precious wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, and sister, Peggy Alice Lee Mallard, 57, of Idaho Falls, passed away March 18, 2012, at her home following a lingering illness. She was under the care of her family and Hands of Hope Hospice.
Peggy was born June 9, 1954, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Victor Lee and Martha Grover Lee. She grew up on the family farm in Milo and graduated from Bonneville High School in 1972.
On November 21, 1975, she married Douglas Warren Mallard in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple for time and all eternity. To this union were born five children, Jennifer, Kristi, Kami, Heather, and Nikki. They made their home in Idaho Falls, and Peggy was a wife, mother, and homemaker. She also worked briefly at the LDS Hospital, which was where she met Doug, the love her life.
An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served in various callings in the Primary and Relief Society. At the time of her death she was the Ward Librarian, a calling she greatly loved. She was active in PTO while her children were attending District 91 schools. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, card games, and spending time with her family. Family get togethers were a special treat that she looked forward to and her grandchildren were the light of her life.
