IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Peggy Nadine Driggers, 77, of Idaho Falls, died July 9, 2009, at her home.
She was born April 27, 1932 in Helena, Montana, to William Murel McBroom and Beatrice Elzora Stinnett McBroom.
She married Sidney O. Driggers on September 12, 1967 in Carson City, Nevada. Their marriage was solemnized on October 16, 1982 in the Oakland, California LDS Temple. Peggy and Sidney made their home in Reno where they lived for 20 years before moving to Modesto, California where they resided for 25 years. She worked as a cosmetologist. She moved to Idaho Falls 10 years ago.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served missions to South Africa and Kentucky.
She enjoyed reading, traveling, shopping, playing games, and watching movies.
Survivors include:
Daughter: Nancy (Wes) Olsen, Rigby, ID
Son: Rod R. (Sherry) Driggers, Idaho Falls, ID
Son: Sidney Driggers Jr., Nashville, TN
Sister: Muriel Kemp, Modesto, CA
7 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her husband.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, July 17, 2009, at the Idaho Falls LDS Stonehaven Ward, 1660 - 12th Street, with Dave Stanley officiating. The family will visit with friends from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home East Side.
