PEDRO CERVANTES-MARTINEZ
IDAHO FALLS, IDAHO -- Pedro Cervantes-Martinez, 42, of Idaho Falls, died September 8, 2009, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medica of complications of kidney disease.
Pedro was born June 23, 1967, in Hueyotlipan, Tlaxcala, Mexico, to Emilio Cervantes and Ines Martinez de Cervantes. He grew up in Mexico and attended schools there. He also attended college in Mexico.
He married Ruby Brown February 28, 1996, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Pedro worked at Idaho Pacific and other potato processing houses in the Idaho Falls area until poor health forced him to retire.
He was a member of the Roman Catholic Church. Pedro enjoyed raising roosters, soccer, basketball, and loved to bake bread.

Wife, Ruby Cervantes of Rigby, ID
Goddaughter: Thalia Marisol Vega of Idaho Falls, ID
Mother: Ines Martinez de Cervantes of Hueyotlipan, Mexico
Brothers and Sisters: Felipe Cervantes, Candelario Cervantes, Victoria Cervantes, Favian Cervantes, Ines Cervantes, and Felipa Cervantes.
He was preceded in death by his father, Emilio Cervantes.
Rosary Services will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, September 12, 2009, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge, with Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church officiating. The family will visit with friends following the Rosary Services until 8:30 p.m. Burial will be in Hueyotlipan Tlaxcala Cemetery in Hueyotlipan, Mexico.
