Pearl Lerene Kettle Waters, 82, of Idaho Falls, passed away December 3, 2017, at her home. She was under the care of her family and Hospice of Eastern Idaho. Pearl was born January 24, 1935, in Ballard, Utah, to Elmer Bruce Kettle and Inez Celest Whitmore Kettle. She grew up and attended schools in the area, graduating from Union High School. On February 21, 1967, she married Lawrence William Waters in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Pearl and Lawrence made their home in Idaho Falls, where Pearl was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She also worked as a cook for Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC) and as a caregiver at the Idaho Falls Care Center (IFCC). She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandkids. Pearl is survived by her son, Val (Anna) Anderson of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Marilyn (Mike) Lundquist of Basalt, ID; daughter, Sherry (Elden) Cress of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Debbie Christensen of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Jody Lynn Waters of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Tammie (Val) Hill of Rigby, ID; daughter, Shellie Waters of Salt Lake City, UT; stepson, Randy Waters of Goldbeach, OR; stepson, Steve Waters of Illinois; stepdaughter, Debbie Aranda of Greely, CO; brother, Dick (Jean) Kettle of UT; 25 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; daughter, Kathy Zamora; sisters, Ina Richins and Lena Tanner; brother, Ralph Kettle; grandson, Billy Sherry; granddaughter, Kristalyn Waters; and great granddaughters, Sky and Harly Willcoxon. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2017, at Wood Funeral Home (273 North Ridge Avenue). The family will visit with friends from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery next to her husband.
