PEARL MISSELDINE
IDAHO FALLS, ID - Pearl Misseldine, 89, of Idaho Falls,
died October 19, 2004, from causes incident to age.
She was born September 3, 1915, to George Albert Huskinson
and Maida Inez Johnson in her great grandmother Cloward's home in Teton,
Idaho. She spent her early years helping on the family farm at Moody Creek,
East of Rexburg, Idaho. She attended elementary school at Moody Creek
and graduated from Sugar City High School.
She met her future husband, William George Misseldine,
at a Gold and Green Ball in Teton. They were married March 29, 1937 at
Rigby, Idaho. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple
December 6, 1946. They lived in Teton, Idaho, Logan, Utah and Idaho Falls.
She worked many years as a waitress in various restaurants in the Idaho
Falls area.
As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints, she served in the Relief Society, enjoyed attending the Temple,
and also volunteered as a Pink Lady at the Riverview Hospital.
Surviving are:
Son: Boyd H. (Alice) Misseldine, Brigham City, Utah
Son: Kent H. (Velva) Misseldine, Idaho Falls,
Daughter: Janeen Martin, Idaho Falls, ID
Sister: Ruth (Lee) Birch, Idaho Falls, ID, and
Sister: Edna Dursteller, both of Idaho Falls, ID
11 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren, 7 Great Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband,
two sisters, Opal Ricks, and Preal Parkhurst, a brother, Dale Huskinson,
a great grandson, Jesse Bischoff, and a son-in-law, Tex Martin.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, October
23, 2004, at the Wood Chapel of the Pines, 273 North Ridge Avenue.
The family will visit with friends for one hour prior
to the services at the Funeral Home
Burial will be in Teton City Cemetery under the direction
of Wood Funeral Home, Idaho Falls.
