Pearl Elizabeth Foster Brown, 85, of Idaho Falls, passed away December 11, 2012, at her home, surrounded by many of her loved ones. She had been under the care of Hearts for Hospice.
Pearl was born December 18, 1926, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Glen Dale Foster and Elve Evelyn Burlingame Foster. She grew up and attended school in Iowa and went to nursing school in Boise, Idaho.
On November 29, 1949, she married Tommie J. Brown in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Pearl worked as a nurse at Good Samaritan Nursing Home years ago and at the Veterans and St. Alphonsus Hospitals in Boise, Idaho. For many years she also enjoyed delivering newspapers with her grandchildren for the Post Register.
Pearl was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved to dance and especially to compete in tap dancing.

Daughter, Margo E. Radar of Idaho Falls, ID;
Son, Kenneth F. Brown of Idaho Falls, ID;
Daughter, Lorna L. Tonks of Ammon, ID;
Son, Montie (Tina) Joe Brown, Ririe, ID;
Brother, Dale Foster of WA;
Brother, Norman (Joni) Foster, Forks, WA;
27 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Benny, a son-in-law, Perry Tonks; and two great grandchildren, Tiaunna Dougan and Teegan Fried.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 17, 2012, at the Idaho Falls LDS Lincoln 1st Ward, 3700 Lincoln Road, with Bishop Kent Lott officiating. The family will visit with friends from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Monday at the church. Burial will be in the Iona Cemetery.
