Peaches Likes

Peaches Florence Likes, 84, of Pocatello, passed away March 23, 2012, at Caring Hearts Care Center in Pocatello of causes incident to age. Peaches was born December 7, 1927, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Jasper Luther Likes and Louise Lurena Hebertson Likes. She grew up in Springfield, Idaho, and attended school there. Peaches was married and later divorced. She was a homemaker and mother. She moved to Pocatello in 2006. Peaches was a longtime member of The Salvation Army Church. She enjoyed embroidery and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved making pies for friends and family. Peaches is survived by her Son, David (Shauna) Likes of Boise, ID; Son, Jerry (Debra) Likes of Pocatello, ID, 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Luther George, Clyde, three sisters, Effie Likes, Millie McGary, and Helen Pharris. Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 29, 2012, at Rose Hill Cemetery in Idaho Falls with Andy Grey officiating. The family will visit with friends from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue.
