PAULINE L. ROBERTS
IDAHO FALLS, ID - Pauline Lucile Cropus Roberts, 81,
formerly of Idaho Falls, with her family by her side, went home to be
with Jesus, February 19, 2004.
She was born May 25, 1922 in Rigby, Idaho to Ferdinand
Silas Cropus and Harriet Eliza Jensen Cropus. She grew up at attended
schools in the area, graduating from Rigby High School. She served in
the U.S. Navy as a WAVE during World War II and worked at Hill Air Force
Base until 1944. From December of 1944 until March of 1946, she lived
in San Francisco, California where she was a receptionist for the Officers
Separation Center Medical Department.
On December 30, 1948, she married Elgoldie Roberts in
Los Angeles, California. They were later divorced. She worked as a housekeeper,
but mainly as a Gourmet Cook for the wealthy in the Los Angeles area.
She has cooked in the homes of Jerry Lewis and Michelle Lee.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints. She enjoyed cooking, music, her friends in Oregon and playing
Bingo.

Son: Gary Brent (Christy ) Roberts, Aloha, Oregon
Son: Valen (Deanne ) Roberts, Idaho Falls, ID
Sister: Orpha Luella Cropus Clegg, Ucon, ID
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, three brothers
and a granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, February
24, 2004, at Wood Chapel of the Pines, 273 North Ridge Avenue, with Pastor
Steve Winters of the Falls Southern Baptist Church, officiating.
The family will visit with friends from 1 to 1:45 p.m.,
Tuesday, at the Funeral Home.
Burial will be in the Rigby-Pioneer Cemetery under the
direction of Wood Funeral Home.
