Mae Pauline Caudle Mikesell, 97, formerly of Idaho Falls, died June 7, 2012 at Nathan Adelson Hospice in Las Vegas, Nevada. Pauline was born May 24, 1915 in St. Anthony, Idaho to Ivy E. Caudle and Nina Ethel Bray Caudle. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and Pocatello. She was the fifth child of a family of eight siblings and the last surviving. On February 10, 1934, Pauline married Harvey David Mikesell and moved to Teton County. In 1943, they moved to Idaho Falls. They raised one daughter. Harvey passed away March 14, 1970. In 1991, Pauline moved to Las Vegas, Nevada. She worked as a retail clerk. Pauline loved her “Granddog” Sasha and her “Grandcat” Simon, and enjoyed watching their antics when she could no longer get out and about as much. She leaves be hind her daughter, Lorena M. Wockenfuss of Las Vegas, NV and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harvey, her son-in-law Alan E. Wockenfuss, and siblings Ruth Baker, Edna Morris, Claude Caudle, Rose Judd, James E. Caudle, Rayberne Caudle, and Warren Caudle. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 30, 2012 at Wood Funeral Home (273 North Ridge Avenue). The family will visit with friends one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
