PAULINE FISK Click here to view Pauline's Video Tribute IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Pauline Breiter Fisk, 90, life long resident of Idaho Falls, passed away May 14, 2010, her home. She was under the care of Creekside Hospice. Pauline was born May 28, 1919, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Otto Charles Breiter and Beulah Whittington Breiter. She attended York School and Idaho Falls schools. She married Leonard Solon Fisk on November 26, 1939, in Idaho Falls. Leonard preceded her in death on March 30, 2009. Pauline worked as a photographer’s assistant and as a dental assistant during World War II at various Army installations. Later, she worked as a department manager in Sportswear at C.C. Anderson's. Over the years, Pauline served the community in several capacities. She was a member of the Parks and Recreation Committee, served as President of the Idaho Falls PTA Council and as an officer of the Idaho State PTA. She assisted District 91 in various projects. Pauline also served as the business manager of the Idaho Falls Symphony. Pauline was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and enjoyed participating in the choir. She was a member of the Ethel Clark Circle, and served as chairman of local church activities. She also participated in the Live & Learn Extension Club and the Project Club. Pauline was an avid fan of the Idaho Falls Baseball Club for more than 60 years and enjoyed attending local pro baseball games. She also enjoyed attending musical concerts and other community productions, gardening and sewing. Survivors include: Daughter: Patti Fisk Buckwalter, Brooklyn, NY Brother: Edward C. Breiter, Idaho Falls, ID Sister: Beulah B. Warr, Idaho Falls, ID 4 Grandchildren: Edward, Robert, Katharine, and William Buckwalter. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Lillian Breiter Anderson; and brother, Albert Breiter. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 237 N. Water Ave., with Pastor Brenda Sene officiating. The family will visit with friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Ave., and on Wednesday for one hour at the church prior to services. Right there in the "Celebrity Section". They were both such a joy when I did the announcing at the ball games. We had a lot of fun. May they both rest in peace in there own "Field of Dreams."
