Pauline Arguello

Pauline Arguello, 82, of Idaho Falls, passed away March 2, 2025, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loved ones.

Pauline was born June 30, 1942, in Clayton, New Mexico, to Elias and Mary Arguello.

She made her home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where she helped raise generations of children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. We all grew up at grandma's house. She was a strong and always active woman, who loved to spend her time cleaning, babysitting, and being with family.

Pauline enjoyed the thrill of the casino and liked trying her luck with scratch tickets.

Pauline is survived by her son, Frankie (Stephanie) Arguello of OR; daughter, Lisa (Juan) Rodriguez of ID; daughter, Denice (Luis Lopez) Arguello of ID; daughter, Jamie Orbay of ID; son, Erick (Jackie) Bleak; sister, Mary Frances Chavez of ID; 15 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her father, Elias Arguello; mother, Mary Rodrguez; sister, Corina Romero; brother, Joe Arguello; step-brothers, Joe Romero, Andrew Romero, James Romero; and grandson, Juan Manuel Lopez.

The family will meet with friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue.
