Paula Packer

Paula Emma Packer, 40, of Rexburg, passed away July 28, 2012, at her home. Paula was born November 6, 1971, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Vern LaMond Hansen and Ruth Florence Simmons Irvine and was raised by her parents, Ruth and Steve Irvine. Paula grew up and attended schools in Firth and Rockford and graduated from Snake River High School. She also attended the Idaho State University College of Technology. She lived in Moreland for 15 years before moving to Rexburg five years ago. Paula worked as a Planning & Zoning administrator for the City of Rigby. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Paula enjoyed horseback riding, crocheting, archery, family barbeques, gardening, and spending time with her grandbabies. Paula is survived by Daughter, Natasha (Jaymes) Hope of Idaho Falls, ID; Son, Corey Berrier of Provo, UT, Son, Aaron Lyle Berrier of Provo, UT, Son, Dio Tyrel Packer of Moreland, ID; Parents, Ruth (Steven) Irvine Sr. of Idaho Falls, ID; Brother, Allen Hansen of Idaho Falls, ID, Brother, Deslie Hansen of Idaho Falls, ID; Sister, Lorraine Beasley of Idaho Falls, ID, Sister, Lynda (Troy Williams) Hansen of Blackfoot, ID; 2 Grandchildren, Dominic Jaymz Hope and Brooklynne Emma Hope. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Chris and Cora Hansen, and Emma Albee. Private Family Services will be held. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials donations to the Paula Emma Packer Memorial Fund at any branch of Idaho Central Credit Union.
