Paula Gae Baker

Paula Gae Baker, 70, of Idaho Falls, passed away October 5, 2023, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Paula was born February 12, 1953, in Pocatello, Idaho, to William Richard Caldwell and Ilene Hulda Archibald Caldwell. She grew up and attended schools in Ririe and Idaho Falls, Idaho, and attended Skyline High School.

On October 5, 2013, she married Ronald Dale Baker in Rigby, Idaho. Paula and Ron made their home in Idaho Falls where Paula worked as an associate for Walmart.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandkids, taking trips with her friends, reading, and crossword puzzles. She was loving, caring, and the best mother in the world.

Paula is survived by her husband, Ron Baker of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Jessica (Sean) Knapp of Rigby, ID; sister, Debra (Bill) Fitch of Rigby, ID; sister, Cindy Miller of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Benita (Mike) McMinn of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Stewart Caldwell of Idaho Falls, ID; and 4 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Vickie Coy; and brother-in-law, Dean Coy.

Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, October 21, 2023, at the Rigby 16th Ward, 4021 East 300 North, with Brother Hugh Staiger officiating. The family will visit with friends Friday from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road, and Saturday from 11:00 to 11:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Rigby-Pioneer Cemetery.
