Paul Wichlacz

Paul Louis Wichlacz, 59, of Idaho Falls, passed away on May 11, 2015, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center surrounded by his family. He was born January 31, 1956, in Buffalo, New York to Casimer Wichlacz and Florence Szcurcynska Wichlacz. Paul received his PhD from Penn State University in 1983, and worked as a manager at Idaho National Laboratory (INL) for 28 years. He loved fishing, hunting and reading. His greatest joy was being with all his family. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Anderson; daughter, Sarah Wichlacz (Shawn Rider); son, Nathan Wichlacz; daughter, Rachel Wichlacz (Andrew Christopherson); grandchildren, Beatrice Wichlacz, Henry Rider, and Abel Wichlacz; and brother, Casimer Wichlacz. He was preceded in death by his five brothers. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2015, at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge). The family will visit with friends on Saturday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
