Paul L.A. Tremblay

Paul Leland André Tremblay, 81, of Idaho Falls, passed away September 16, 2026, at Turtle & Crane Memory Care. He was under the care of Enhabit Hospice.

Paul was born April 5, 1945, in Spokane, Washington, to Conrad Tremblay and Mildred E. Anderson Tremblay. He grew up and attended schools in Coeur d'Alene.

Paul served in the United States Navy.

He married Virginia Jacobsen on June 3, 1967, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. They had 4 children, Patrick, Phillip, Joseph, and Lynette. They later divorced.

On April 15, 2005, he married Ofilia Ramos in Butte, Montana. Paul and Ofilia made their home in Idaho Falls, where Paul worked as a Navy Engineer and Submarinest for the INL.

He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and Holy Rosary. He had 9 patents on his inventions. He loved being an engineer, and was a demolition expert. He enjoyed reading, fishing, rocks, astronomy, and aviation.

Paul is survived by his wife, Ofilia Tremblay of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Patrick (Caroline) Tremblay of Twin Lakes, ID; son, Phillip (Lesley) Tremblay of Post Falls, ID; son, Joseph (Dee) Tremblay of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Lynette (Doug) Werr of Marysville, WA; sister, Marie Wutzke of Lacey, WA; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Conrad and Mildred Tremblay; and his brother, Chuck Tremblay.

Service times are pending.
