Paul Cardenas Sr

PAUL CARDENAS SR. IONA, ID -- Paul Cardenas Sr., 86, of Iona, passed away January 26, 2008, at the home of his son of natural causes. He was under the care of Aspen Home Health & Hospice. He was born July 19, 1921, in Cypress, California, to Frank and Carmen Madrigal. He grew up and attended schools in Cypress. He married Rose Seja and they were later divorced. He worked as a machinist for Hughes and McDonald Douglas Aircraft in California until his retirement. He moved to Idaho Falls 12 years ago. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed his six-year-old granddaughter, Kelsey, gardening, yard work, riding his lawnmower and fishing. Survivors include: Daughter: Carmen Cardenas-Lucero, Whittier, CA Son: Joseph Cardenas, Panama Son: Paul Cardenas Jr., Iona, ID 11 Grandchildren & 8 Great Grandchildren and three Great Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister.
