Paul Miner

PAUL E. MINER 7/7/27 - 10/24/03 IDAHO FALLS, ID - On July 7, 1927, in Blackwell, Oklahoma, a beautiful soul named Paul was born to Austin Corydon and Audrey Francis Goodman Miner. With a twinkle in his eye and a smile that could light up any room, Paul was the tenth of eleven children and spent his childhood growing up on the family farm in Blackwell. At 17, Paul joined the military, serving in the tail end of World War II, and again in the Korean War. He is truly an honor to his family and to his country. On June 10, 1960, he married LaDawn Egbert and fathered four sons, Ricky Eugene, Paul Douglas (Jan), Danny Lee (Timmea) and Michael Rex (Dee). They were later divorced. On May 8, 1981, her married Julie Cabrera and fathered his last son, Matthew Justin, whom he helped deliver into this world and was able to spend many precious years with. Paul was also grandfather to Jenifer, Cody, Kenneth, Steven, Cameron, Samantha, Colton and Rose. Paul is preceded in death by his parents, siblings, his son, Paul D. and a grandson, Kenneth. Paul was a loving father, grandfather, husband, son-in-law and uncle. It is with great sorrow we accept his passing. It is with great joy that we look forward to reuniting with him once again, to touch the green, green grass of home. Until then, we take comfort in knowing he is here in every ray of sunshine and every star that twinkles in the midnight sky. Private family services will be held under the direction of Wood East Side Chapel.
